The success of USB in the international FEIS ranking

From 2023, the ICS Council (The International Council of Scientists) has been developing a new ranking platform under the GWC (Global World Communicator) Program and begins to publish a list of universities from all over the world that provide the best conditions for study, life and comprehensive development of international students FEIS (Favorable Environment for International Students).

The University of South Bohemia, which is currently the only university from the Czech Republic in the FEIS ranking, has achieved significant success and an overall FEIS class A++ rating. It received full marks in the categories of Campus life (A++), Campus housing (A++) and Academic resources (A++).   

The expert assessments are based on a comparative analysis of the organisational and structural parameters of the university and their ratios with the respective top world values in 5 nominations: Campus life and services, Campus housing, Information for international students, University community, and Academic resources. FEIS is a ranking platform that is continuously updated based on the work of the experts and is open to all universities interested in international students, global cooperation and promoting projects for the internalisation of education and research.

It also evaluated selected fields of study (WQL). The expert assessments are carried out through comparative analysis based on the world's highest values in 4 categories: student community structure, academic staff composition, academic resources and global communication.

USB was evaluated in the following study fields: Biological Science, Earth Science, Engineering Technology and it achieved an overall FEIS Class A++ rating.
