Consent to sending information messages

During this activity, JU acts as the administrator of personal data of newsletter subscribers. The distribution of the newsletter is ensured by JU itself, it does not use any other person (processor) for this purpose.

By registering to receive JU newsletters, the subscriber of the newsletter gives his free and informed consent to the collection, storage and processing of his e-mail address, which he provides in the registration form, for the purpose of sending information messages (newsletter).

Consent is granted for a period of 5 years from the date of its granting.

Consent is entirely voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. Consent can be revoked via a link included in every newsletter sent, or it can be revoked by sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. In connection with the sending of information messages, the subscriber of the newsletter can exercise the rights attributed to him by Regulation of the European Parliament and of the EU Council 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/ 46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

In particular, he has the right to request information from JU on whether and how it processes his e-mail address, what information messages it uses to send, etc.,

If the subscriber of the newsletter asserts a right in relation to the processed personal data, he will be notified of the resolution of his request no later than one month from the delivery of the request. This deadline may be extended by two months, taking into account the complexity and number of processed applications.

Exercising rights is free of charge. JU may require a fee for handling the request only if the request is clearly unfounded or disproportionate because the request is repeated.
